Dining room day.

Muted sage going up, white trim staying crisp. Everything covered, lines cut clean.

This one's going to feel calm when it's done.

Day one at Daniel's loft.

The color's picked: Clove. Dark, moody, a little bold.

Right now it's all white walls and drop cloths. Give it a day.

What's in the Bucket: Farrell-Calhoun.

Not Sherwin. Not Benjamin Moore. This is a family-owned paint company out of Memphis that's been making paint since 1905. You won't find it in every store, and that's kind of the point.

On this job: their Evergreen eggshell on the walls, Enamlex on the trim.

Why this paint? The home designer picked it specifically for this high-end home in Cotswold. When a designer names the paint, you use the paint.

One thing most people don't know: this company's been family-owned for 120 years and mostly sells in the Mid-South. Outside this region, most homeowners have never heard of it.

Ever used a paint brand nobody else has heard of?

End of day one.

Walls are blue, trim's taped, and that wallpaper ceiling? Still perfect.

10/15/2026

Day one on this interior, and the ceiling's already the star.

Floral wallpaper all the way across with the chandelier hanging through it. Our job: cut clean lines around every inch of it and not touch a single flower.

Walls are going a custom blue. This one's going to be good.

From red brick to this.

Three days of prep and paint, and the front's a whole new building. Dark brick, clean white trim.

Proud of this crew.

10/12/2026

End of day one, and you can already see it changing.

The brick's going dark — windows masked, lines cut, full coverage rolling on. This is the part of a job where it starts looking like something.

More tomorrow.

10/12/2026

The crew's eating good today.

Monday morning at a local restaurant — everybody's got a station. One on the ladder working the eaves, one on the brick base, one on the windows. No paint yet, just prep.

Same rules as a house: the paint only lasts if the prep is right.
