Another site visit in the books, and this one's got us buzzing. 🏡

Bright's Creek is one of those places that makes our job easy: gated, tucked into the Blue Ridge Mountains, and built around the same things we care about, thoughtful design and a slower, more intentional way of living. Every visit out here reminds us why the setting matters just as much as the floor plan.

A bathroom that had one big constraint: the best spot for the shower was also the spot with a view of uptown.

Most people would pick one or the other, privacy or the skyline. We didn’t want to choose. So the shower window got switchable privacy film: clear when you want the view, opaque with the flip of a switch when you don’t. It’s the kind of decision that never shows up in a finished photo, but it’s exactly why the room works.

That’s the layout thinking that happens before a single material gets chosen. Where the plumbing wants to sit isn’t always where the light and the view are best, our job is making both of those things true at once.
