This Charlotte backyard sport court got a cleaner, more finished look with professionally installed landscape turf around the sides and back of the court.

For this 800-square-foot project, STC installed artificial grass around the basketball/sport court to create a sharp green border that improves the look and usability of the entire backyard. Since water naturally runs off a hard court surface, drainage was added along the turf edges to help capture runoff and move it away properly.

This project is a good example of how far people are willing to go for quality when they want a backyard done the right way.

STC mainly operates out of North Carolina, but every now and then the word spreads far enough that we get called out of state for a special project. That was the case here. We traveled to Georgia to complete a 1,000 square foot synthetic turf backyard putting green built for a homeowner who wanted something more than just a basic golf feature.

This was a full backyard transformation. The finished space gave the homeowner a premium area for entertaining guests, relaxing outside, and getting in real putting practice at home. The slit film putting green surface helped create a clean, polished, elite-level result that looks sharp and performs the way a custom project should.

A project like this is about more than appearance. It is about creating a backyard that is functional, low maintenance, and enjoyable on a daily basis.
