One thing to always keep on top of is the outside of your home. It doesn't take to long before things can get out of hand.
Wood rot and water damage is what we are talking about here. From time to time get out and walk around your home and check things like caulking and paint . Make sure it is all in good condition. Catch it before it gets expensive to fix.
