Awarded by JM Cope Construction, this 60-unit community will feature a clubhouse and transform the former Eureka Mill textile site into a new residential development. Our Multi-Family team can’t wait to get to work and bring this community to life!

What an incredible day for Watson at the North Carolina Electrical Apprenticeship Contest, hosted by Apprenticeship NC!

Our team put their skills to the test in both a hands-on build and a written competition, and we’re excited to celebrate some outstanding results:

🥇 FIRST PLACE: Tyler Hendrix (Wilson Division)
🥈 SECOND PLACE: Issachar De La Cruz (Wilmington Division)

We’re also proud of Tyson Shroyer (Fayetteville Division) for his hard work and strong showing in the competition.

A special thank-you to Christian Enriquez (Fayetteville Division) for serving as an alternate and supporting our team throughout the day, and to Paul Watson, Apprenticeship Program Manager, for his dedication to training and preparing our competitors.

Congratulations to all our Apprentices for the focus, determination, and craftsmanship they brought to the competition — we’re proud to see your hard work pay off. Next stop: Nationals!

The countdown is on! Our competing Apprentices are gearing up for the North Carolina State Fair Electrical Apprenticeship Competition, putting in the work to prepare for both the written and hands-on portions of the competition.

We’re excited to watch them put their skills to the test at the state level later this month and represent Watson! 👏

Last Friday was a great day of team building and giving back in our Charlotte office!

We kicked things off with Food Truck Friday — thank you to Word of Mouth Catering CLT for the delicious food! Then, our team gave back through an on-site blood drive in partnership with The Blood Connection.

Thank you to our Charlotte team for making it such a great afternoon! We’re grateful for the opportunity to spend time together while making a difference in our community.
