I thought I’d hop on here and reintroduce myself…

I’m Craig and I own Liquid Rock Custom Concrete.

People see the finished driveway, patio, or slab. They don’t always see everything it took to get there.

Starting a business has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Long days become even longer. You wear every hat imaginable. Some days you’re meeting with customers, some days you’re pouring concrete, some days you’re doing paperwork late into the night after everyone else has gone to bed.

There are moments where you question yourself. Moments where you wonder if all the sacrifice is worth it. You miss dinners. You lose sleep. You carry the weight of making sure every customer, every employee, and every family depending on you is taken care of.

But then a customer smiles when they see the finished project. Someone leaves a review saying you exceeded their expectations. A family enjoys a backyard you helped create. That’s what reminds me why I started.

Happy Father’s Day from Liquid Rock Custom Concrete!

Most people look at standing water on a patio and think it’s just an inconvenience.

The reality is that water pooling against your home can lead to bigger problems over time, from slippery surfaces and unusable outdoor space to drainage issues that only get worse with every heavy rain.

For this project, the goal wasn’t just to pour concrete. It was to create a long term solution.

We removed the old patio area, installed a channel drain system to properly direct water away from the home, and finished it with a brand new concrete surface that completely transformed both the look and functionality of the space.

The difference is night and day, but the best part is what you don’t see. No more standing water. No more puddles after every storm. No more wondering where the water is going to go.

Mountain views are nice… but mountain concrete takes work. ⛰️

This metal building slab was poured at a pretty high elevation, which meant the project started long before the concrete showed up.

Heavy excavation, serious grading, and the right prep work were all needed to create a solid, level foundation built for the structure going on top of it.

At Liquid Rock Custom Concrete, we know the slab is only as good as what happens underneath it.

Strong foundations start long before the concrete gets poured.

This metal building slab for Liquid Rock Custom Concrete was built the right way from the ground up with a solid gravel base, v***r barrier protection, and full perimeter rebar footers for added strength and durability.

A lot goes into making sure a slab is ready to stand the test of time, and the prep work matters just as much as the finished pour. That attention to detail is what separates a quick job from a quality one.
