We completed this main bathroom renovation in Redfields, including squaring off the angled shower, new tile shower and bathroom floor, new vanity, and tiling around the existing walk-in bathtub. Tiling the entire wall behind the vanity gives a look of continuity from the shower. New light fixtures and mirrors completed the update.

On this day 10 years ago, we sat down with the laptop on my dining room table, logged in to Legal Zoom, and formed Crawford & Crawford Residential Remodeling LLC. We were scared, but confident, we were willing to work hard, and we knew we were both employable if it didn’t work out. I was 53 years old and Wayne was 50 at the time, so we were a little crazy. 😂 But here we are, going strong 10 years later, thanks to all of you! We recently finished the basement level in a home in Glenmore, constructing a bedroom, bathroom, and living area. Natural light pours into the space and there are French doors leading outside, so it seems less like a basement. We added a wall of accessible storage closets down the hall leading to the bedroom and bath, so the client also has ample storage areas.

We recently completed this ground level screened porch in Forest Lakes. In the first two “before” photos, you can see the existing pergola and two windows to the left of it, which is the main bedroom. We removed one window and installed a door…the client told me she and her husband walk right out into the porch to enjoy their coffee most mornings. In the “after” photos you can see that the skylights allow natural light, without a lot of heat, due to their location, and the vaulted ceiling lends a wonderful air of openness.

We recently remodeled this main bath in Montgomery Ridge. We removed the large tub and window and relocated the shower to that area and installed a transom window in the shower. We installed beautiful cabinetry in the previous location of the shower and installed the matching double vanity. The first three photos are “before” photos.

We just completed this main bathroom remodel in Crozet. The client selected this beautiful, unique tile and our painter painted the ceiling to match! The gold shower curtain really accentuates the gold stars in the tile and painted on the ceiling. We also painted the existing vanity cabinet.

We recently remodeled this kitchen in Forest Lakes. We removed the desk and closet pantry and built a custom pantry with barn doors, installed a larger island, and installed a new window. The client chose a beautiful accent tile for the wall behind the range.
