🔥Firewood Readiness - How do you know it's ready to burn?🔥

Cracks: look for "checking" (small cracks) on the end grains
Color: The wood will fade from a bright, fresh look to a dull gray or tan.
Sound: Bang two pieces together. Green wood sounds like a dull thud; seasoned wood rings with a hollow "clink".
Moisture Meter: For the perfectionists, a digital meter should read under 20%
