Mike Nelson, founder and owner of Nelson Masonry & Concrete, Inc., literally grew up in the business. Mike's Dad drafted him at a young age to help out in the family business, Nelson Masonry & Sons, in the Quad Cities area of Iowa and Illinois. After graduation, Mike went to work for a nearby company that specialized in high-end brick and stone work, looking to expand his knowledge and skills beyond block and poured concrete. In 1978 Mike founded Nelson Masonry & Concrete, Inc. and in 1985 moved it from Grand Rapids, MN to the Twin Cities. Since then, Mike has established Nelson Masonry & Concrete, Inc. as the contractor of choice by the areas most elite builders, and a workplace where knowledge and experience is shared, and where skill and dedication to craft are rewarded. Mike has built success and a solid reputation the same way he learned the business—-with his own hands. Today, Nelson Masonry & Concrete, Inc. represents the highest standards of quality and performance in the field.
