One of Chatham Township’s hidden gems.

This property is definitely on our favorites list. (No offense to the others; we love you all equally.)

More than 22 years of consistent care have shaped this backyard into what feels like a private forest. Winding gravel paths lead through mature trees and layered plantings, opening into secluded seating areas, pollinator gardens, and custom-built birdhouses tucked throughout the property.

The homeowner’s vision was simple: create a private escape from the noise, with space to slow down, relax, and enjoy parts of nature that are becoming harder to find in town.

Designed and built almost entirely in bluestone. Defined by detail.

Three sheer descents fall across a recessed tile panel, laid on a 45 and framed in bullnose. Each patterned diamond was individually cut and set into stone. Along the top, two five-foot fire burners complete the feature after dark.
