Gladden Wrestling is excited to announce the first-ever Warrior Wrestling Camp, taking place on July 17, 2026, at Gladden Middle School.
This camp is open to boys and girls entering grades 2–9 and is designed to introduce young athletes to one of the toughest and most rewarding sports in the world.
Throughout the day, campers will learn the history of wrestling, Folkstyle wrestling rules and scoring, neutral position fundamentals, defensive wrestling, referee’s position, pinning combinations, and participate in live wrestling, team games, and activities.
The mission behind this camp is simple: grow the sport of wrestling in our community and provide young athletes an opportunity to experience everything the sport has to offer. Wrestling teaches discipline, confidence, perseverance, accountability, and work ethic—qualities that benefit athletes long after they leave the mat.
Thanks to the support of Amen Brother Construction, we are able to offer this camp free of charge to participants. Our goal is to remove barriers and create an opportunity for as many young athletes as possible to step on the mat, learn something new, and have a positive experience.
As we prepare for camp, we are also seeking additional sponsors and community partners who would like to support this effort. Donations help provide support for our upcoming wrestling season.
Registration is limited to the first 100 campers.
