At the beginning of the semester, the group visited Chattanooga for the first time.

They toured the building with Anca Rader, the real estate developer of the site, and also had meetings with the community and local leaders to gain some perspective on local needs and aspirations for the area.

At the Chattanooga Design Studio, we are so happy that this is the 5th year we are doing a collaboration with University of Tennessee Knoxville's Professor Kevin Stevens and his 4th year Design Studio.

This fall semester, the students are doing a reimagining project on the Dixie Yarns block area in Ridgedale, transforming the old factory into an exciting mixed-use development.
