Adding new HVAC equipment, antennas, pipes, vents, or other equipment to a commercial building can mean more than simply finding space on the roof.
New equipment may require penetrations through the roofing system, changes around existing flashing, or supports that interact with the roof surface. Even foot traffic from installation crews can affect areas that weren't part of the original project.
Getting your commercial roofer involved before the work begins gives them a chance to review the planned installation and identify roofing details that need to be addressed.
