Nobody asks "what should my laundry room look like?" Everyone just accepts whatever closet they were handed, and purchases the best machine that fits the space.

We had other plans.

Somewhere between "hide the appliances" and "actually enjoy walking in here," it became a laundry room AND a wine bar. Perfectly fitted doors that swallow the washer and dryer whole, glass racks built into the uppers, a counter that none of your guests would ever guess seconds as as a folding table.

The lesson? The most overlooked room in your house might be the one with the most room to surprise you.

Swipe to see where it started. Then tell us what's the one space in your house you wanted to see revised?

The kitchen gets all the credit, but these rooms would like a word.

Custom cabinetry doesn't just mean "pretty doors"; it means built-in solutions for the way people actually live. Curved corner shelving in the pantry so nothing gets lost in a dead angle. Dark-stained cabinetry in the primary bath with brass hardware that reads more "boutique hotel" than "just a vanity." More dark cabinetry in the laundry room, holding its own against wallpaper bold enough to make doing laundry just a little more fun.

Same craftsmanship. Same attention to detail. Completely different rooms, each one built to fit exactly how this family uses it.

25 years of cabinetry design later, and it still comes down to the same thing: custom cabinetry built to last, finished with actual patience, and made to fit your space; not the other way around.

If you're zooming in on that double-faucet, that's The Galley Tap, paired perfectly with the Workstation, where you can clean, prep, and chop all in one easy space, right in the middle of cooking.

Share with someone who needs to upgrade their kitchen's whole personality.

We may be biased, but this navy powder room is a knockout.

Full-overlay doors, antique brass hardware instead of typical pulls, and a catalyzed conversion-varnish enamel system for this rich painted finish...giving just enough to perfectly offset that pink marble.

The wallpaper gets the double-tap. We all know the cabinetry did the heavy lifting. 💅

We regret to inform you that pantry envy is a real and documented condition (we have it every day).

Soft-close drawers, room for every mixing bowl you own, and a rod system so your shelves never collapse under the weight of your ambition.

Tag someone who needs this (we're happy to provide).

This one isn't about the cabinetry, but after sharing the kitchen, the butler's pantry, and the dining room from this Arts & Crafts revival, we couldn't let the rest of this home go unshown.

(Don't worry. More of our work is coming. But this house deserves to be seen in full.)

So. The living room.

It started with a hand-drawn sketch by and became something closer to a time capsule than a renovation. The fireplace is zellige tile, handcrafted, irregular, luminous, anchored by an antique batchelder medallion (which started as a hand-drawn sketch) at its center. Batchelder tiles were a hallmark of the Arts & Crafts movement in the early 1900s, known for their hand-pressed relief work and earthy character. This one was created for its history as much as its beauty.

Deep forest green paneling frames every wall. botanical floral wallpaper, dense and layered, unapologetically maximalist in the very best arts & crafts tradition, climbs up to meet a coffered, warm-wood ceiling that looks like it was lifted straight from 1910 (because, yes, it was.)

Then the furnishings: a tufted leather chesterfield that has clearly seen things. A cognac leather armchair with a teal striped pillow that has absolutely no business working this well together, and yet here we are. A brass sunburst wall sconce glowing against all that wallpaper and roses on every surface, because this home commits to everything it does.

This is what happens when a designer understands not just how a room should look, but what it should feel like to live in. Every object earned its place. Every finish was chosen with intention, and the result isn't a room that looks designed; it's a room that feels lived in, collected, and deeply considered.

More rooms from this project are coming! Including the ones where our cabinetry takes center stage. Stay tuned.

The butler's pantry said, "Hold my fish." 🐟

Navy blue custom cabinetry running wall-to-wall. A fish-scale backsplash in pearlescent blush that shifts from pink to silver depending on the light, and looks like it was designed by a mermaid with impeccable taste (or ), marble countertops with warm gold veining that somehow ties the whole cool palette together. Brass rail shelves. Under-cabinet lighting. A jeweled, sculptural fish holding court at the center of the room, as if it owned the place (it does?)

And then you step through the doorway...and we'll showcase that one in the next post!

This is what a butler's pantry looks like when it stops being a utility space and starts being a destination.

The details are where the story lives.

Same teal cabinetry. Completely different energy. In the kitchen, it commands the room. Here, in the dining space, it does something quieter and yet beautiful, syncing the rooms. Chrome pulls that let the color do the talking.

The cabinetry isn't decoration here. It's the backbone; the thing that holds the room together while everything else gets to be a little wild. a sculptural elephant base table. Blue upholstered chairs. A lion portrait presiding over it all, and purple irises in a hand-blown red art glass bowl that pulls everything around it together.

This is what happens when custom cabinetry meets a design (and designer) that communicates an intention. Every drawer pull, every slab of stone, every inch of teal was chosen with intention. That's always been the classic cabinetry difference.

We don't do ordinary. Neither do our clients.

This is a full-scale revival of the aesthetic movement and arts & crafts movement, brought to life through peacock teal cabinetry, a floor-to-ceiling iridescent gold tiled backsplash, green marbled perimeter countertops, a butcher block island with a hammered apron-front sink, a built-in cookbook library, and a round arched portal that leads into a floral wallpapered room like something out of a very chic fever dream.

This kitchen doesn't follow trends. It sets them and then leaves them behind to do something even more interesting (the rest of the house is equally mesmerizing).

Save this and show it to anyone who ever told you to "play it safe."
