Almost a week after closing on the Spears Ave design build, Iāve had time to reflect. Years ago, my spouse and I lived one block away, where I started my business and earned my contractorās license. Building here feels like a true full circle moment. I love Hill City.
There are so many elements of this home that Iām proud of. A huge thank you to the featherlane design co. team for being such an integral part of the projectā¦from preconstruction and floor plan development to design, selections, project management support, and staging. They played a major role in ensuring the finished product aligned with our goals every step of the way.
Thank you as well to Melissa Graveline | Architecture + Interiors | Chattanooga for providing architectural plans, offering fresh perspective, and navigating revisions with patience and professionalism. And to Steve at East Chattanooga Lumber, Haley Collis Ferguson Home , Stephanie HomeChoice Windows & Doors , and so many others who contributed along the wayāthank you.
The truth is, the quality and efficiency weāre able to achieve comes down to relationships. That doesnāt happen overnight. Itās the result of years of trust, consistency, and showing up for one another. Most of the subcontractors I work with have been with me since the beginning. A real testament and track record of how we operate. They show up early, stay late, work weekends when needed, and take pride in their work.
What Iām most proud of isnāt just the finished homeāitās the team behind it. Every build is a reflection of the relationships that have been built over time, and none of this happens without the talented people who continue to show up and perform at a high level.
