When this historic window was taken apart for restoration, one pane had an irregular cut at the point—small enough to overlook, but important enough to matter.

Every pane was carefully tracked during disassembly so it could be returned to the exact frame it came from. This irregular cut is a perfect example of why that level of detail matters. Once each pane was back in its original position, the window was reglazed to create the clean, consistent profile that gives the finished restoration its polished appearance.

The value of restoration is in preserving the details that can’t be recreated once they’re gone.
