Hudson Wood and Propane are currently taking orders for wood.
Here are our prices, 5-7 cord loads are $70.00 a cord. 4 cord loads are $72.00 a cord. This is for cut, split, and delivered wood within a 10 mile radius of our location. Over 10 miles will incur a small fuel fee.
When I say cord, I mean a "face cord". Most people know this, but for new wood burners, a face cord is measured 4' tall x 8' long and typically cut 16" in length.
All of our wood this year will be a mix of hard maple, beech, and ash. With the logging companies bringing their pulp wood to the Wisconsin mills last year and this year, it is EXTREMELY difficult to get hard maple. Fortunately we were able to secure and have ON HAND hard maple that we can mix with ash.
It is a good idea to get a year ahead in your wood supply so this wood has a chance to dry out. Wood will NOT dry until it has been split.

We also have campfire wood here for you to pick up; from $5.00 bundles all the way to 1/2 cord. If you need 1 or 2 cord, Pete can either load it in your truck/trailer or leave a pile on the ground for you to pick up.
And finally, our propane is $21.00 for a 20 # tank (gas grill size) and if you get 3 filled, you'll get the 4th FREE. We also fill 30 # up to 100 # tanks. Call 231-625-9956 for questions on gas.
