Last week this live edge coffee table was delivered to its new home. This blue pine slab was full of character and had so many stories written in its grain.

After planing down the slab and cleaning it up, the small cracks and beetle holes were filled in with black TotalBoat epoxy. Once the epoxy was cured, we carefully planed it flat again, sanded it for hours, and finished it with tinted TotalBoat Halcyon Varnish.

Events like Embrace Hoopfest make us so incredibly proud to be part of the Spokane community. Thanks to so many of you, we were able to raise over $100,000 during our second annual Embrace Hoopfest fundraiser event!! Few things in this world come close to the feeling you get when you see so many people step up, come together, and make it change like this. Thank you to all of you that donated, volunteered, or played alongside us for 24 hours - each and every one of you helped make an impact in the lives of thousands of foster kids around the greater Spokane area.

We want to give a huge shout out to Thrivent for being a fellow sponsor for this year's event and for their very generous donations totaling $12,500! When Peyton moved here to Spokane, her nightstands fell out from the back of the truck when the movers opened the door. Since these tables had been in her family for over 50 years, she wanted them restored to their former beauty. With the damage too severe for simple DIY repairs, she gave us a call.

Over the course of several months, I carefully disassembled the nightstands, re-built shattered plywood, repaired damaged veneer, glued and fixed the door panels, replaced the hinges, created a matching stain color, and applied a new clear coat. The result? The client was ecstatic to see her nightstands looking brand new while still showcasing their antique charm.

Our move is complete! Thank you to Henry from Broader Custom Woodworks and volunteer Mike for the use of their trucks and trailers this week to get us moved to our new, bigger office! We couldn't have done it without you 💚

🏀 2nd ANNUAL EMBRACE HOOPFEST 🏀

Last year we hit the hoops of Downtown Spokane for 24 hours to raise money for Embrace Washington and Hoopfest charities and we almost hit $40,000! But this year, we're coming in even stronger with double the players and a fundraising goal of $75,000 to help foster kids throughout Eastern Washington!
