A small porch rebuild we completed last week before jumping in to another project. Here is what we did:

*Coordinated with the customers HOA and got the complete front porch rebuild approved.
*Poured concrete footers and placed our porch posts on top of the footers above grade and not in the dirt.
*Rebuilt the frame using structural Simpson smart tie hardware and pressure treated lumber.
*added posts and deck railings. We used black metal balusters, colonial post caps and 2x4’s to trim out the structure.
*porch boards are 2x6 PT not 5/4 decking.

We loved how this one turned out and the customer liked the quick turnaround and not being without a set of steps for too long. They now have the nicest steps in apartments.

We were able to help this customer with their deck. Their deck is located on the water and by default it took a beating due to the salinity from the water. Here is how we helped them:

*We were able to pressure wash the deck safely and in stages (without chemicals at their request)
*We let the decking boards acclimate and checked for moisture content before staining.
*We stained the deck with Sherwin Williams transparent stain. The color of natural wood which is the one the customer choose.

We love how the project came out and it came as a two part process as we remodeled their bathroom completely as well. Another bathroom completed. Here is how we helped this customer:

*We framed up the bathroom and insulated it.
*We added a bath fan and vented it to the exterior of the house.
*Added plumbing and electrical to the bathroom.
*Fixed the drains and feed lines.
*Leveled the floors and tiled.
*Tiled the walls all the way past the vanity as an accent/backsplash wall.
*Added a custom niche and threshold.
*Installed a Schluter shower system, curb and pan tile.
*Installed a barn door for entry.
*Drywalled and painted the entire area.
*Framed out and trimmed the window.

Another bathroom completed. Here is how we helped this customer:

*We converted an existing closet to a full bathroom with permits.
*We removed the existing leaky single pane glazed windows and re shingled the outside with cedar shake shingles to match the current siding on the house.
*We completely removed the floor and jacked up the structure and replaced all floor framing and joists and brought it up to code.
*We installed v***r barrier.
*Our plumbers and electricians were able to come in and tie into the existing plumbing and electrical panel and bring the house up to code.
*We added a high CFM bath fan and vented it to the outside to pull moisture out of the bathroom.
*We insulated the structure and added attic baffles to bring that up to code.
*We installed a 32x60 American Standard Cambridge deep soaking tub, a 24” vanity and framed for a 10”OC toilet.
*We added tile to the floor and tile walls.
*Added a towel bar, toilet paper holder, vanity medicine cabinet, flush mount lights.
*All new drywall painted and primed.

We were able to help this customer out with adding an additional bathroom in their house with permits. We increased the value of their house with this addition. Our value is in our skills, knowledge and connections. When we have tricky jobs and permits we work with the best electricians and plumbers we know and we make your vision come to reality. Another bathroom remodel completed. Here is how we helped this customer:

*Customer originally had a vinyl acrylic shower system with a sliding glass door. We removed this and did a Schluter system with a mosaic hexagonal shower floor, beveled threshold, double niche on the wall (one for soap; the other for shampoo). Replaced the mixing valve and shower trim kit. Tile wall and a glass door all in black trim.
*Replaced the original LVP flooring and installed 10” white hexagonal tile.
*Replaced the original vanity and reworked the plumbing for a 60” double sink with black Faucettes.
*Replaced the original toilet with a skirted apron elongated toilet (not low flow)
*Added new trim and added new accents to make this bathroom stand out.

We were able to help this customer in their time frame and work them into the schedule and give them a nice bathroom with tile. A customer wanted to get some repairs and a bathroom remodel done to their home. Here is how we helped them:

*We were able to remove the old cast iron tub and wall tile and replace it with a modern tile and accent strip. A niche was added and threshold for the niche that matched the wall tile. The shower floor pan tile matched the wall tile just in a smaller format.
*We replaced the old mixing valve and installed it with a newer Moen with a dual overhead fixture.
*We had our glass installed install a custom sliding tempered glass door with a built in towel rack.
*We framed up and installed several ADA compliant grab bars and a towel rack with a shaving shelf on the right wall.
*We removed and capped the old baseboard heater and replaced the wall tile using the old tile to match the existing floor.
*This customer also had a leak from a shower on the 2nd floor that caused some serious drywall damage. We were able to replace that drywall, sand, primer and paint to match existing. Replace trim and make some custom pieces to match existing.

A smaller job we did about a month ago, here is what we did to help this customer:

*Customer had some rot around their exterior door jambs. This is common with wood jambs. Water follows the jamb and will wick up underneath the sills and take out the lower part of the jamb in almost every exterior wood door. We replaced all the brick molding on all doors around the house.
*We repaired, scraped, caulked and painted the doors and trim.
*We replaced one 32x80 exterior door and ordered a frame saver jamb so this issue doesn’t happen again.
*We replaced all the garage door trim with Azek PVC trim and replaced the garage door seals.
*We repaired 2 spots of drywall in the house. One from a roof leak the other from a bathroom leak. We verified that the roof was in fact no longer leaking from the skylight after the roof replacement and informed the customer. We primed all the drywall and the customer requested to paint themselves.

We were more than happy to help this customer and more importantly we gave them knowledge that we have learned along the way as to why these issues happen and gave them a superior product so it wouldn’t happen again.

Another one wrapped up. Here is what we did:

*We were contracted to re-deck (only) this deck that desperately needed the attention.
*We re-decked the surface with 2x6 PT boards
*All new posts inset and blocked into the framing.
*All new rails with black metal ballisters
*A new set of stairs that turns and lands in a concrete platform.
*Finished up with new 4x4 post caps and trim rings on the bases.

We have been extremely busy and appreciate all the support and patience our customers have shown us with our schedule.

Another bathroom completed. Several more to go. Here is what we did:

*We removed the old one piece bathtub stall and installed a new acrylic shower stall with sliding glass and satin nickel fixtures.
*We added some recessed lights, a new bath fan, led WiFi medicine cabinet and vanity and wired them to double toggle switches.
*We tiled the floor, added new trim, painted everything using Sherwin Williams primer and paint.
*Repaired the old drywall scuffs, sanded and painted entry doors, added new stone thresholds.
*We beefed up the walls behind the shower stall so we could incorporate an ada accessible bench and handrails. More handrails can be added at a later time anywhere in the shower stall if needed and you would hit a stud and not have to use anchors.

We were pleased with how this one turned out, the customer was pleased with it as well. We were able to fix the safety concerns they had with the old tub/shower and help them plan for the future.
