A Luh food for thought for my customers out there.

Four symptoms of a frozen coil:
1. Leak in coils or copper.
• if leak in coils it’s unrepairable, replacement needed
• if leak detected outside of coil 9.5/10 it’s repairable
2. Clogged metering device. Either jammed (txv)or clogged(piston/orifice) depending on your system’s device. Replace part
3. Dirty/clogged filter. No air coming across coils causing to freeze. Remove and replace filter
4. Bad blower motor. Causes outdoor unit to operate alone which causes coils to feeeze

Everything don’t have to result in a new unit.

Sometimes though you have no choice
