JOB SUMMARY: The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that prior to the start of construction, all processes are in place to ensure an efficient, profitable operation. This includes managing the flow of the contract review process with clients, and contracts/relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. Works internally with salespeople, estimators, project managers, project management support staff, VP of Preconstruction, VP of Construction, General Superintendent, Logistics Manager and project management support staff to ensure a smooth flow from sales to construction. Serves as administrative resource to field crews during projects to communicate with clients, manage change orders and expectations, etc. Communicates with customers about scheduling, and to ensure their readiness for work to start.

Advancement opportunities include estimating and project management for geotechnical, & utility grouting projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Take responsibility for ensuring everything is in place for field operations staff to perform jobs efficiently
Take ownership of various business processes related to the preconstruction process, such as:
document flow control for contracts and subcontracts
short term resource coordination with Project Manager
communication with customers regarding scheduling
invoicing and job closeout
Work with the Project Manager to maintain a high level view of available capacity
Manage the work pipeline in conjunction with the Project Manager and General Superintendent to ensure customer satisfaction by completing jobs on time, and also reducing over commitments,
Maintain safety & compliance documentation


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: College degree preferred

Work Experience: 1 year of project management or construction project administration experience

We recently completed a major stormwater analysis for Liberty Crossing HOA, Williamsburg.

These sinkholes formed around manholes near the playground and homes of residents. We were able to fill the voids and seal the pipe to create a stable and safe environment for the residents!
