Well its in the books finally and now I can post about it. This job is a 6k foot run we did at Craney Island in Portsmouth. We had to leave and come back due to a hold up on a gas crossing permit.

On this one the team pulled double 1.25" conduits 6k feet across the entire facility. We really enjoyed this one as there was a lot of emptying rod racks.

The team did a wonderful job as always and we finished the install with zero issues. The client will come next week and set boxes and pull wire. This project was to wire up gate controls for added security.

The team has been really busy on a several thousand foot bore project at Princess Anne Atheletic fields in Virginia Beach. We pulled off for a week to tend to a coupme smaller bores and allow the utility locators to fix a few issues they have had.

Here's a pic from our job last week at Kinder Morgan coal piers in Newprt News. Kinder Morgan has become great customers and friends over the last few months. We have several bores left that will run us into August with them. This bore was under five railroad tracks for a comms line the customer needed.

Two water mains were successfully bored across Caratoke Highway in North Carolina by 1pm, and the team enjoyed a sit-down lunch today. Tomorrow, we will return to drill two more, followed by a team lunch featuring shrimp at Hurrican Moes. Eastcom is effectively establishing our reputation as a trusted name in North Carolina. Although we haven't formally announced it, we are now the prime contractor for both Currituck County's water infrastructure and the Ribbon fiber project in the Outer Banks. With over twenty years of experience, Eastcom is the go-to underground contractor for Southeast Virginia and Northeast North Carolina.

This week, our team has been working diligently on a water main replacement project in Franklin, Va. We have completed over 1600 feet of the 2500 foot run. The outdated infrastructure piping was experiencing leaks and issues, prompting our crew to respond swiftly with minimal notice and initiate the replacement process. We are on track to complete the project by Friday. Although we had hoped to finish by tomorrow, inclement weather has altered our plans. Additional photos will be shared on Friday.

Last week proved to be a productive endeavor. Our team had the distinct opportunity to execute drilling operations at the coal piers in Newport News, Virginia.

The project involved the installation of 1400 feet of 2-inch piping beneath existing coal piles and concrete water channels. This was accomplished through four distinct bores, which the crew completed efficiently. Despite encountering challenging ground conditions, primarily consisting of fill sand, the team successfully created a stable bore path. They meticulously applied the appropriate mixture and additives to ensure a robust pullback of continuous pipe, achieving an impressive 860 feet on a single bore.
