This Veterans Day, we pause to honor and celebrate the selfless dedication of our veterans—those who have stood watch over our freedoms and devoted their lives to the highest ideals of service. We recognize that your sacrifice is a profound gift, one that has safeguarded the liberty and security we often take for granted.

From the earliest days of our nation to today, brave men and women have answered the call to serve, leaving behind families, communities, and personal pursuits to defend something larger than themselves. Your courage inspires us, your resilience humbles us, and your commitment to the values of freedom and justice challenges and strengthens our collective bond.

Today, we also remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, the heroes who did not return home. Their absence is a lasting reminder of the cost of freedom, and their legacy endures in our hearts and in the country they helped protect. As we honor all veterans, we hold a special place for those who gave their lives and for the families who carry on in their memory.

We promise to remember, respect, and support each of you—not only on Veterans Day but every day. To all veterans, living and fallen: we thank you, we honor you, and we strive to be a nation and people worthy of your service.

We understand the importance of supporting small local businesses. So let's do three at once! You support us, and we'll support two others!

We will choose one winner at random on Friday February 9th, 2024 to receive one tumbler (either white or black) and a $100 gift certificate to the Long Tom Bar & Grill in downtown Veneta! They are a great local family and just opened up the new restaurant!
