September might be one of the most beautiful months in a New Jersey garden. 🌿✹

Summer is still holding on, but fall is beginning to make its presence known. The light gets softer, mornings feel cooler, ornamental grasses start to glow, and late-season blooms bring one more beautiful stretch of color.

It’s a month where two seasons seem to meet in the same garden.

And that’s part of what makes a thoughtfully planned landscape so special. There’s always something changing, something emerging, and something worth noticing. 🍂

September reminds us that a garden doesn’t need to be at peak bloom to be beautiful. Sometimes, the transition is the best part. 💚

Is your lawn looking thin after a long, hot summer? đŸŒ±

By September, New Jersey lawns have been through months of heat, dry spells, foot traffic, and everyday summer stress. This is when a little thoughtful care can go a long way.

Fall aeration helps relieve compacted soil and allows air, water, and nutrients to reach the root zone more effectively. Pairing it with overseeding helps fill in thin areas and encourages a thicker, healthier lawn.

And the timing matters. Cooler September temperatures create favorable conditions for new grass to establish before winter arrives.

A beautiful spring lawn doesn’t start in April. A lot of the important work happens now.

If your lawn could use some attention after summer, talk to the Cedarwood team about fall aeration and overseeding.

🍂 Want a thicker, healthier lawn next spring? Start this fall.

Fall is one of the most important times of year for your lawn, and aeration and overseeding can make a noticeable difference.

After months of summer heat, mowing, foot traffic, and heavy rain, soil can become compacted. Core aeration opens the soil back up, allowing water, oxygen, and nutrients to reach the roots more effectively.

Follow that with quality grass seed, and fall’s cooler temperatures, warm soil, and seasonal moisture create an ideal environment for new grass to take root and fill in thin areas. đŸŒ±

The result is a stronger root system, denser turf, and a lawn that is better prepared to wake up beautifully next spring.

Great spring lawns are built in the fall.

Fall aeration and seeding season is here. Contact Team Cedarwood to give your lawn the head start it deserves.

đŸŒ» Have you ever noticed that August has a sound all its own?

The hum of bees moving from bloom to bloom. Cicadas buzzing in the distance. Birds calling from the trees. Leaves rustling in the warm breeze.

There’s something special about the garden at the end of summer. The flowers are full, the pollinators are busy, and everything seems to be soaking up these last golden days before the seasons begin to change.

Sometimes the best way to enjoy your landscape is simply to sit, listen, and take it all in. 🐝🩋

These are the sights and sounds of August, and they won’t be here forever.

So linger outside a little longer. Let the garden put on its show. 🌿

Hey, don’t be mad at us... but we need to talk about snow â„ïžđŸ˜Ź

Yes, we know it’s 80 degrees outside. Yes, you’re probably still thinking about pools, patios, and squeezing every last bit out of summer.

But winter has a habit of showing up faster than anyone expects.

And for commercial properties, the time to figure out your snow and ice management plan is not when the first storm pops up in the forecast.

At Cedarwood, we plan early so our clients don’t have to scramble later. Our goal is to become an extension of your team, with proactive communication, dependable service, and a plan already in place when winter decides to make its entrance.

So enjoy the sunshine. We’ll be over here thinking about snow. đŸ˜Žâ„ïž

Commercial snow and ice management contracts are starting now. Contact Team Cedarwood to get your property on the schedule.

🍂 Think planting season ends when summer does? Think again.

Fall is actually one of the best times to bring something new to your landscape.

As temperatures cool, the soil remains warm and seasonal moisture becomes more consistent, creating ideal conditions for new trees, shrubs, and perennials to establish strong roots before winter. Instead of putting their energy into surviving summer heat, plants can focus on settling in and preparing for beautiful growth when spring returns. 🌿

It’s also the perfect opportunity to look at your landscape with fresh eyes. Refresh a garden bed that has lost its spark, introduce new layers of color and texture, add seasonal interest, or finally create that garden space you’ve been imagining.

A little thoughtful planting now can completely change how your property looks and feels in the seasons ahead.

Fall planting today creates a more beautiful landscape for tomorrow.

đŸŒ± Thinking about what’s next for your landscape? Contact Team Cedarwood and let’s start planning your fall additions.

đŸŒ± Want a healthier, thicker lawn next spring? The work starts beneath your feet this fall.

A beautiful lawn is about more than what you see on the surface.

After a summer of foot traffic, mowing, heat, and heavy rain, the soil beneath your lawn can become compacted. When that happens, water, oxygen, and nutrients have a harder time reaching the roots where they’re needed most.

That’s where core aeration comes in.

🌿 Does your garden make you stop and appreciate what’s growing around you?

A beautiful garden does more than add color to your home. It brings a landscape to life.

Flowers invite bees and butterflies to linger. Layers of texture and color change with the seasons. And the right plants can turn an ordinary corner of your property into a little ecosystem of its own.

At Cedarwood, we love creating gardens that are beautiful for the people who enjoy them and welcoming to the pollinators that depend on them.

Because making our shared earth a little happier doesn’t have to be complicated.

Sometimes, it starts with one garden, one flower, one plant at a time.

And if your gardens aren’t bringing this kind of beauty and life to your home, let us help change that.

The Sun Went Down. Your Outdoor Living Doesn’t Have To. ✹

The days may be getting shorter, but that doesn’t mean your time outdoors has to be.

Thoughtfully designed landscape lighting transforms your property after sunset, bringing warmth to patios, highlighting beautiful trees and gardens, and illuminating the walkways and outdoor spaces you enjoy most.

And it’s about more than beauty. The right lighting can improve visibility around your property, add a sense of security, and enhance the overall appeal and value of your home.

After all, some of the best summer evenings begin when the sun goes down. 🌙

More evenings. More memories. More outdoors.

Ready to see your landscape in a whole new light? Let Cedarwood bring it to life after dark.
