Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and equipment
Conduct routine custodial tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and surface sanitization
Maintain floor care by buffing, polishing, and applying protective coatings to ensure a professional appearance
Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of large areas and specialized equipment maintenance
Assist with facilities maintenance duties such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and ensuring safety standards are met
Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Support portering functions by moving supplies and equipment throughout the facility as needed
Skills
Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures
Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and floor care including buffing and polishing
Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively
Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and facilities maintenance tasks
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform manual tasks throughout the shift
