It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clarence “Smitty” Smith. Anyone who knows Mechanical Systems, Inc. couldn’t help but know Smitty. He was an icon at MSI for over 35 years, working until well into his eighty’s. He was the “ultimate do anything for anybody” guy. There aren’t words to express our appreciation for his devotion, friendship, and selflessness. Truly a one of kind guy in so many ways. You’ll be missed old buddy. Smitty passed away peacefully at his home on July 28th at the age of 93. Private services will be held for the family on Friday, 8/6.
