These hardwood floors were covered in paint, scratches, and years of wear. After a full sanding process, we finished them with a Dark Walnut stain and multiple coats of semi-gloss finish to bring out the natural character of the wood.

A lot of prep and attention to detail goes into getting a floor like this right, but the final result speaks for itself.

Here’s what we’ve been up to.

This rooftop deck in the Lakeview area was designed to create a little more privacy without taking away from the views. We installed custom privacy walls facing the neighboring buildings while keeping the view side more open so the homeowners can enjoy the skyline and views of Wrigley Field.

The space was finished with Trex composite decking, a custom pergola with a 10/8 pitch roof, and a torch-down roofing system built to handle Chicago weather.

A clean, low-maintenance outdoor space built for relaxing, entertaining, and enjoying the view.
