Excited to be part of the new United States Cold Storage expansion project in Kankakee, IL with Power Construction Construction.

Within days of award, our team mobilized nine pieces of mass grading equipment and began site operations.

Current project scope includes:

• 308,900 SF site development area
• 90,000 CY of earthwork operations
• 11,000 tons of imported stone
• Building pad construction and compaction
• Parking lot grading
• Detention pond excavation
• Demolition of existing onsite structures

Projects of this size require planning, communication, and ex*****on from every member of the team. We’re grateful for the opportunity and look forward to delivering another successful project.

Digging deeper in downtown Chicago.

Phase 2 at is officially in progress as our crews continue excavating beneath the cross bracing system.
