I have a unit for rent and the tenant applicants are out scamming!! Committing straight identity theft!
1st applicate: fake ID - clearly the man took a selfie 🤳🏽 as his ID photo
Then his check stubs not adding up! Gross pay minus the tax deductions not mathing to the Net pay!
The trucking company address is to a whole apartment complex!!!
Yall trying to have a whole drug crib!
2nd applicant: gave a California ID ok she said she relocated with her sister to Chicago ok cool! No worries. Run the credit huge FRAUD ALERT 🚨 called the number. The lady said I live in California never have I tried to move to Chicago someone stole my identity please contact authorities!!!
It’s so important to do credit checks and job verifications! Omg we already had to evict someone from that unit what if we went through that again for the 2nd year in a row!!!
Can’t stress enough if you don’t have time to properly vet your tenants please pay that bomb realtor 1st month rent so worth it!!!! Take your time don’t get the first potential candidate!!!! Trust your intuition!
