Mark your calendar and get ready to have some great family fun at a slow-pitch, Chicago-style, 16-inch softball tournament set for Saturday, August 29 at Wentworth Park.
This event will feature top CPD and CFD players going head to head, competing for prizes and generating $$$ for two worthy charities: Light the Line and Ignite the Spirit.
This day of fun is the brainchild of Geno Randazzo of All Exterior Contractors, a consistent and longtime friend of police, fire and all first responders. "Our police officers and firefighters do so much for us on a daily basis, it's always worth the effort to salute them," Geno says. "Organizing this tournament start to finish is one way to do that. I encourage everyone to be a part of this."
