🧊 ICE DAMMING ISSUES & RESPONSE🧊
Extreme demand is forcing us to limit our responses to Berwyn, Riverside/NRS and nearby surrounding suburbs only for the rest of the week possibly longer... If you are in need of removal please send a message with your address and phone number. I’ll add my business page and phone number in the comments. We will reply with a booking text with costs and availability. Once you approve the cost we immediately add you to our queue for response. We are only running on a first come first serve basis unfortunately, but will prioritize seniors and emergency situations if possible.
⚠️ Unfortunately I’ve seen a lot of local handymen advertising this service to fill a need, but please be cautious because many are not licensed roofing contractors and do not use the proper method or equipment for this type of damage. We’ve seen them use hammers, hoses and hot water pressure washers to do this.🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️. Not only is this unsafe , but these methods can cause irreparable damage to roofing shingles, void manufactures warranty, and cause a bigger mess when using large amounts of water, even when it’s “hot” water. Insurance companies also recognize this as the only safe method to be used on roofing membranes with ice dam issues.
All of the water splashing in the last clip is coming from the melting ice , not our equipment. We use super heated steam and a specialized method to safely and effectively mitigate this issue. Please be safe out there, climbing your roof in these conditions is one of the most dangerous things you can do if you’re not a professional. Good luck everyone and stay warm out there! 🧊🥶❄️
