In continuation of our efforts to implement a pro-growth, pro-business initiative, HACIA continues it's conversations with congressional delegates. HACIA's Board of Directors recently met with Congressman Mike Quigley to discuss federal rule changes impacting small diverse-owned businesses and the broader construction industry.

We shared our concerns and the perspectives of our members while emphasizing the importance of preserving pathways to economic growth and participation.

This conversation is a part of HACIA’s ongoing advocacy efforts, building upon topics from our DBE Congressional Roundtable Discussion and meetings with congressional leaders through the National Coalition for Growth in Washington, D.C.

HACIA remains committed to advocating for pro-growth policies that expand opportunities within the construction industry. We will continue to advance practical solutions and ensure the voices of small diverse-owned businesses are heard at every level of government.

HACIA was honored to bring together participants from the City of Chicago Department of Housing Biz Accelerator Program for a program kickoff event at a Chicago White Sox game alongside partners from Wintrust Bank and the City of Chicago’s Department of Housing.

Although the game was met with a rain delay, the event provided an opportunity for emerging business leaders, industry partners, and civic stakeholders to connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen the relationships that help drive business growth and economic opportunity throughout our city.

Thank you to Wintrust Bank and the City of Chicago Department of Housing for their continued partnership and commitment to supporting small and diverse businesses. By connecting entrepreneurs with resources, expertise, and opportunities, we are helping create pathways for long-term success across the construction industry.
