CVSA International Roadcheck is scheduled for May 12–14, 2026.

During this 72-hour initiative, enforcement personnel across North America will conduct inspections focused on driver requirements, vehicle condition, and cargo securement.

This year’s vehicle focus:
Cargo Securement & ELD Tampering

In 2025 alone:
• 18,108 violations were issued for cargo not properly secured
• 16,054 violations involved unsecured components or dunnage

Preparation matters.

Before hitting the road:
✔ Inspect load securement
✔ Verify straps, chains, and binders
✔ Confirm ELD accuracy
✔ Check tires, lighting, and equipment
✔ Address defects immediately

A few extra minutes during pre-trip inspections can help reduce violations, delays, and roadway hazards.

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is committed to helping keep crews, drivers, and the traveling public safer every mile.

Across the country, one message shows up the same way: bright, visible, and impossible to miss.

Our teams showed up big time for Go Orange Day from coast to coast, representing a shared commitment to protecting crews, drivers, and every life moving through a work zone.

Different branches. Same purpose.

This collage is just a snapshot of the people behind the work, the ones planning, setting, protecting, and staying focused so everyone gets home safely.

Sound up, this is a fun one!

National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW) is an annual spring campaign held at the start of construction season to promote safe driving through highway work zones.

This year, NWZAW will take place April 20–24 and is hosted by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT). The 2026 theme, “Safe Actions Save Lives,” highlights the importance of slowing down, staying alert, and protecting those working on our roadways.

We encourage everyone to do their part by driving safely and using extra caution in work zones.

🌷🌧️ Spring Weather Hazards Are Here, Stay Alert on the Job Site!

Spring conditions can change quickly, bringing new safety risks to be aware of every day. Take a moment to protect yourself and your crew:

🌬️ Wind Awareness
Secure materials like plywood and insulation to prevent the “sail effect” and reduce fall risks.

🥾 Muddy Conditions
Keep boots and equipment clean to avoid slips, trips, and falls.

⚠️ Unstable Ground
Rain and thawing can create soft, uneven surfaces, always inspect ladder and equipment placement before use.

Safety starts with awareness. Let’s stay proactive and keep everyone safe this season.
