A huge shoutout to our El Dorado team for their outstanding work supporting the 2026 Unbound Gravel Race!

This year marked the 20th anniversary of Unbound Gravel, the world's largest off-road gravel bicycle race, bringing together more than 4,000 riders from 53 countries and generating worldwide media coverage in Emporia, Kansas.

This was the third consecutive year RoadSafe has partnered with this incredible event and, by far, the largest single event ever supported by our El Dorado branch. After months of planning, more than 1,000 labor hours, and multiple crew shifts, our team successfully managed numerous road closures and staffed 14 flagging locations across multiple counties, helping ensure safe crossings where race routes intersected with Kansas state highways.

This accomplishment would not have been possible without the dedication and teamwork of our employees, as well as the support from our Railroad Benton office, which provided additional personnel, equipment, and vehicles to help make this event a success.

Thank you to everyone involved for your hard work, professionalism, and commitment to safety. We are proud to have played a role in delivering a safe and successful experience for participants during this milestone year of Unbound Gravel.

CVSA International Roadcheck is scheduled for May 12–14, 2026.

During this 72-hour initiative, enforcement personnel across North America will conduct inspections focused on driver requirements, vehicle condition, and cargo securement.

This year’s vehicle focus:
Cargo Securement & ELD Tampering

In 2025 alone:
• 18,108 violations were issued for cargo not properly secured
• 16,054 violations involved unsecured components or dunnage

Preparation matters.

Before hitting the road:
✔ Inspect load securement
✔ Verify straps, chains, and binders
✔ Confirm ELD accuracy
✔ Check tires, lighting, and equipment
✔ Address defects immediately

A few extra minutes during pre-trip inspections can help reduce violations, delays, and roadway hazards.
