Why, yes, w**d love to tell you all about all the pieces we made for this retail cannabis shop! ⁠🥦💨😜

Spark'd Dispensary's display cases were a joint effort between our carpentry, metal work and design teams. Our carpenters used blackened white oak to build the tops of the cases, while our metal shop crafted their iridescent zinc nickel-plated steel legs. And our designers engineered them to be secure but also easily accessible for the dispensary staff.

Our metal shop kept it blazing with the iridescent zinc nickel-plated steel to fabricate the POS counter and hanging art piece.

These custom pieces look totally lit alongside the blood orange ductwork on the ceiling and the groovy ombre wall treatment.

We're busy at work on Espiritu, a Mexican-American restaurant and bar that will take the place of the former McCormick & Schmick's steakhouse at 1. E. Wacker Drive.

While our field carpenters and tradespeople are working on-site, our metal and millwork shops are building architectural elements to define the 10,000 square foot space. The elaborate steel support structures and millwork components pictured here will carve out the bar and tasting room.

We're proud to be working with Siren Betty Design and Via Architects on this incredible project. Stay tuned for more updates.

First glimpse at the newly installed indoor playspace we built for the new location of Tiny Giants Early Learning in Ravenswood Manor.

This adorable structure had to be sturdy enough for the big kids but smooth enough for the littles - no sharp edges on our watch! Our designers and carpenters nailed it (with a lot of help from one of our favorite materials Kerfkore).

Chef and co-owner, Hannah Tillet Banaszak's bagels are like little masterpieces that deserve to be shown off. Luckily, her husband and co-owner Mike Banaszak, an architect, whipped up this cool shelving design to put those bagels on display in style. ⁠

And Vero had the honor of building out Tilly's signature bagel wall for all three of their locations (South Loop, Fulton Market and Lakeview).⁠

The arched seating alcove we built for Hatty's, the bar and supper club tucked inside of the Rosemont Ice Arena. We love how it gives you a cozy dining nook, but without sacrificing the sightlines to the rink below.

We've made a ton of progress at Logan Inn, the cafe, lounge and bar opening soon in the striking Victorian-era architectural gem on the corner of California and Armitage.

Most of the unglamorous but exceedingly important mechanicals - electric, plumbing, HVAC - and framing are done (or nearly done) and pretty soon Siren Betty's stunning finishes, fixtures and furniture will go in.

Gonna be a beauty!

When you walk into El Che Steakhouse & Bar, one of the first things you see is these beautiful custom wine racks with integrated meat display cases that line the walls behind the host stand.

It's like the restaurant is immediately putting all its cards on the table, showing you exactly what it can do (and do exceptionally well). 🥩🍷

Now that's what we call making a great first impression.

The bar at Lil Clip: built in 2022, looks like 1922.⁠

It was designed by Siren Betty Design to complement the circa 1930s bar at the adjoining California Clipper. Vero built it with sapele wood, chosen for its durability, rich color, and sustainability compared to its endangered cousin mahogany. With its arched shelving and an integrated peg letterboard drink menu, we think it fits right in at this iconic Humboldt Park cocktail lounge. ⁠
