Kokedama Workshop, Thursday, August 20th, 5:30 to 8:30 pm at 2714 N California Ave.

We’re teaming up with En Masse and Nuluum for an evening of hands-on moss ball planting, benefiting Helping Hand . Come learn the art of kokedama, a beautiful way to grow a plant without soil or a pot, just moss, string, and root structure doing all the work.

Drinks included, food available for purchase, and live music all evening. If you’d rather skip the craft table and just soak in the atmosphere, social entry gets you in the door.

$10 social entry, $25 kokedama ticket. Price goes up starting 8/11, so grab your spot now.

That’s not a traditional lawn, it’s a Carex lawn! We swapped the grass for a sedge matrix that stays soft underfoot, handles foot traffic from kids and dogs, and never asks for a mower. The trampoline stayed put through the whole install, because a real family yard has to work around real life, not the other way around.
