FIRST Team 1850 - ACE Technical High School Robotics FIRST Team 1850 is a Robotics Team out of ACE Technical High School on the south side of Chicago. We compete annually in the FIRST Robotics Competition.

This page is to showcase our work. Special thanks to Motorola Solutions for helping to fund our team! Team 1850 is a group of high school students lead by adult mentors who compete in the yearly FIRST Robotics Competition. During a strenuous 6 week season, mentors and students build a robot that can accomplish particular tasks. Each year the students get hands on practice: designing, working with

electrical components, programming in C++, building a pneumatic system, measuring, cutting, and assembling a mechanical frame which is attached to varying drive-trains.
