We donated 3 ribbons to the events and, Survivors held up the name "FLO" and Florine in memory of our friend that was lost the night before.

The Beverly Breast Cancer walk is an annual event that attracts over 14,000 walkers through the Beverly neighborhood. Each year, the walk passes by St. Barnabas Parish, and a group of volunteers decorate the trees with pink ribbons. This year, with the help of Richard Jones of Blade Masters Chicago, we added 2 large ribbons cut into the lawn in front of the rectory, outlined in pink paint. It was a very unique and visible way for us to show our support for all those battling this disease.
