What a way to start off the week! 🏌️‍♂️
The Healthcare Engineers Society of Northern Illinois Annual Golf Outing at the Ivanhoe Club was a blast! It was a lot of fun getting the team out on the course, enjoying some friendly competition, and swinging away.

How many doors is too many? 🚪

We had the opportunity to work on Maine South, Maine East, and Maine West High Schools, replacing and updating 600 doors across all three schools.

From removal and installation to the finishing touches, our team worked hard to make sure every door was completed with quality, precision, and attention to detail. We’re proud to have been part of a project that helps improve these schools for students, staff, and the entire community.

Reed Construction was proud to partner with LUMC on a renovation that included new SPECT/CT imaging equipment, upgraded auxiliary systems, custom millwork, and a renovated nuclear medicine stress room.

The result? A smarter, more efficient imaging environment. The modernized equipment provides greater reliability, supports faster software and technology updates, streamlines workflows for clinical staff, and helps position the facility to deliver high-quality patient care well into the future.

🦺 National Safety Week at Reed Construction
Last week, Reed Construction spent the week focused on what matters most — safety. Across our teams and jobsites, we held a series of trainings and hands-on demonstrations as part of Safety Week, bringing together industry partners and field teams to reinforce safe practices and proactive planning.
A big thank-you to our partners who helped make the week impactful:
🔧 Bosch joined us to provide hands-on tool safety training and demonstrations for our teams in the field.
💧 Marsh McLennan discussed water safety and flooding mitigation strategies, helping teams prepare for and respond to changing site conditions. They also spent time onsite in Lake Geneva with our residential teams focused on fall prevention and jobsite awareness.
🦺 Milwaukee Tool showcased PPE equipment and safety solutions designed to help keep crews protected on the job every day.
Safety is more than a checklist at Reed — it’s part of the culture we continue to build across every project and every team.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the week a success.
