A little different than your standard concrete patio 👏🏼

Large concrete slabs with gravel and decorative stone in between gave this backyard a clean, finished look while still keeping it simple.

Winter driveway problems usually start before winter.

August might feel early to think about snow and freezing temperatures, but if your driveway already has cracks, low spots or drainage issues….another Chicago winter isn’t going to help.

Water gets into those problem areas, freezes, expands and can make small issues a whole lot worse by spring.

If your driveway is already showing its age, now is the time to take care of it while there’s still plenty of good concrete weather left.

Long driveway, long day 😅 but this one turned out GOOD.

There’s nothing better than finishing a job and seeing the homeowner genuinely happy with how everything came together. At the end of the day, that’s what matters most to us.

That unused space along the side of your house could be a patio by fall.

A simple concrete pour can give you room for a table, grill, seating...whatever you’d actually use it for. And when it’s prepped and pitched correctly, you’re not worrying about water running back toward the house later.

Big pour today👏

We brought in a 180-ft concrete pump to get all the way around to the backyard and ran 9 yards of concrete through it. Everything was finished with a broom texture for a clean look and added traction.

The concrete is in, but we’re not quite finished yet. We’ll be back to wrap up the landscaping with decorative stone, mulch, and the final details that bring the whole project together.

Getting this one ready for tomorrow’s pour. Forms are set, stone base is compacted, reinforcement is in place, and the patio is properly pitched away from the foundation to help direct water away from the house.

If your driveway is cracked, sinking or just showing its age? Replacing it can make a pretty big difference to the front of your home.

For this one, we went with a traditional broom finish and picture frame border. The border is a small detail, but it gives the driveway a much more finished look.
