The following is a situation QHR Leak & Line resolved for a customer this past week. The customer had a hot water leak on a 1/2" water line under the refrigerator. He accessed the leak through tile floor and discovered leak coming out of beam at an angle requiring additional access. made second access on opposite side of beam and ran new pipe under beam. Repair was made with type L soft copper and silver solder joints. Soil and concrete replaced; the photos show the various stages of the repair in progress.

This is a water leak test and repair that Bruce did yesterday. The first photo shows where he pinpointed the leak. The second photo shows where he accessed the leak. The third photo shows the finished job. Fortunately for our customers, he doesn't leave a big mess in their homes! He likes to tell customers that he leaves behind a gray spot on the floor.

The following is a situation one of our customers encountered recently:
The city cut off the water due to a 64,000-gallon usage in a month – lots of water! This lady called a plumbing company that bid $10,000.00 to dig up the yard and replace the water line.
QHR Leak & Line was called and after an hour or two of investigation, discovered a leaking copper line that was leaking at the point it went into the concrete beam. The runoff from the leak was going into a broken drain fitting, so it didn’t pool and wasn’t making noises or mess in the yard or house, making it difficult to locate. My testing procedures allowed me to locate the leak and make repairs in matter of hours.
The bill was less than $1000.00, less than 10% of the other companies bid! The homeowner’s were happy with the work and the cost.

Because of the cold weather we are experiencing in North Texas QHR Leak & Line would like to remind folks to cover up their hose bibs (outside faucets) and remove water hoses from them to keep pipes from freezing!
