In 1992 Ann and Peter O'Leary chose a different path.They left city life behind and opened an old timey general store in Chimney Rock, North Carolina.Their one-year-old yellow Labrador became the store's mascot and spokes-person and Bubba O'Leary's General Store was born. Home town hospitality is what you will find along with treasures from local artisans and memories of a time gone by.

Our foundation is poured!! We are one step closer in the process of rebuilding our General Store. We’ve had to push this back multiple times and we are so excited to finally see it happening! The walls are now continuing to rise up! Follow along to see more progress in the next few months!

Chimney Rock and surrounding areas have had lots of heavy rain recently. The memories from hurricane Helene come flooding back and we can start to worry, but we are resilient. We are safe and we thank you for all of your prayers and support.
