Twice a year, the air at O.F. Wolfinbarger Inc. gets a little more “academic” as we welcome the hardworking students from Mt. San Antonio College Agricultural Department!

We’ve had the pleasure of hosting Professor Brian Scott. Brian’s journey came full circle here from a Mt. SAC student to a professor, bringing his classes every semester to get their hands dirty and learn the “roots” of the industry.

During their visit, students tour our yard for a deep dive into:
• Soil Amendments: Understanding what makes plants thrive.
• pH Levels: The science behind the soil.
• The Business of Ag: Completing real-world assignments on how we operate.

We believe in these students. That’s why we are proud to provide $10,000 in scholarships every year to the Mt. SAC Ag Department. These awards are given in loving honor of our founders, Olin and Jesse Wolfinbarger, who believed in the power of agricultural education.

As Brian moves on to his next adventure, we want to give a warm welcome to Professor Gretchen! We are so excited to continue this tradition with her and keep inspiring the next generation of horticultural experts.
