Why can a new air-conditioning system occasionally experience a parts failure?

Even carefully manufactured and professionally installed equipment can develop an unexpected problem.

• Components are inspected and tested at the factory.

• The equipment may travel hundreds of miles and be handled several times before reaching your home.

• After installation, we test the system and check it for refrigerant leaks.

• In rare cases, a tiny weakness may not become detectable until the system has operated through normal heating and cooling cycles.

This does not automatically mean the equipment is poor quality or that it was installed incorrectly. It means mechanical equipment can occasionally experience an unexpected defect.

Today was a great day celebrating our team during Hobbs Heating & Air’s Employee Appreciation Day at Topgolf Panama City Beach.

We enjoyed spending time together, playing games, sharing a meal, and making memories outside of the usual workday. Our team works hard every day to serve our customers, and we are grateful for the dedication, effort, and commitment each person brings to the company.

Lightning Safety Tip from Hobbs Heating & Air

With thunderstorms and frequent lightning moving through our area, we recommend turning your thermostat to the OFF position until the storm and lightning have passed.

Power surges and interruptions caused by lightning can be hard on HVAC equipment and electronic components. Turning your system off during periods of heavy lightning is a simple precaution that may help reduce the risk of equipment failure.

Once the storm has safely passed, simply turn your thermostat back on and resume normal operation.

Every shelf, every bin, and every tool has its place so our installers have what they need to complete your new HVAC system with efficiency and attention to detail.

At AutoNation getting the install crew a new van. They have been bearing the heat for awhile due to an irreparable ac. Can’t have them finish out the summer heat with no ac. Want to make sure you get the best service possible can’t do that if they are worn down before they get to the job. I expect it will be a few weeks before it’s completely outfitted with branding and tools.
