The May 2026 Greatness Winner is ETHAN ASPENSON!

As a first-year apprentice operator, Ethan's drive and determination to learn and excel at a very fast pace is what PCo’s foundation was built on! Ethan has been working on the Rochester Sports Complex project this spring and is not afraid to tackle any new task we throw his way or to develop his skill on any piece of equipment we put him in. He is currently operating an MTS Quadtrac scraper with no prior experience and has consistently, day-after-day, been a big part of setting the bar high to exceed our production goals on this project. Keep up the GREAT work, Ethan, and continue to focus on setting that bar higher each day. You have a bright future ahead on the PCo team, and we can't wait to see all you will accomplish!

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Lucas Beeksma to Project Superintendent. Since joining the PCO team in the spring of 2016, Lucas has contributed to a wide range of projects and crews, successfully completing diverse scopes of work while continually expanding his knowledge and expertise in the construction industry.

One of Lucas’ greatest strengths has been his ability to see the bigger picture of each project while maintaining attention to detail in day-to-day operations. His leadership, dedication, and forward-thinking approach have consistently made a positive impact on both our team and our projects.

We are confident that Lucas’ experience, knowledge, and foresight will serve him well in his new role as Project Superintendent.

Since joining the PCO team in the spring of 2019, Shane has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, leadership qualities, and a commitment to excellence on every project he has been part of. Over the years, he has become an integral member of the team, playing a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, correctly, and efficiently.

Shane’s reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with both crews and project leadership have earned him this well-deserved opportunity. Please join us in congratulating Tyler Och on his promotion from Assistant Project Manager to Project Manager at Peterson Companies.

Since joining Peterson Companies in 2022, Tyler has demonstrated a strong work ethic and willingness to support both the estimating and project management teams. His attention to detail, reliability, and ability to assist across multiple aspects of projects have made him a valuable part of the organization.

Tyler graduated from Minnesota State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, bringing both technical knowledge and practical experience to his role.
