🚨 HELP OUR FRIENDS AT SETTER CONSTRUCTION! 🚨

Our friends over at Setter Construction recently had a trailer full of tools and equipment stolen from a job site in Blacksburg.

As a fellow local contractor, we know just how much our crews depend on their tools every single day.

Let’s come together as a community and help Setter Construction recover their stolen equipment!

If you see or hear anything that could help, please contact Setter Construction or the Blacksburg Police Department. And please SHARE their original post to help spread the word!

OFFICIAL NOTICE 🚨🏈

Modern Day Roofing will be “out of office” today.

Okay… not really.
We’ll still be answering the phones, inspecting roofs, and taking care of our homeowners, but there’s just something different about a Friday night in Lane Stadium. 🧡🦃❤️

This is Friday night in Blacksburg.

LET’S GO HOKIES!
P.S. We are, in fact, OPEN today!!

“It’s a beautiful day.” And yesterday sure was.

We had the honor of attending the dedication of the Holly King Outdoor Classroom at Eastern Montgomery High School, a beautiful space created in memory of a beloved teacher.

Modern Day Roofing was proud to install the metal roof and share our trade with the students who helped bring this project to life. Through hands-on experience in several trades, these students left a lasting mark on their school that future generations will enjoy.

This project was brought to life through the generosity of many local businesses and organizations, including the New River Valley Home Builders Association , Blue Ridge Timberwrights, JC Martin Inc., Extreme Concrete, Truesdell Engineering, Eaton Carpentry, New South Metals , B&B Powder, and New River Engraving, alongside dedicated donors, educators, and volunteers. From donated materials and labor to grants and shared expertise, this was truly a community effort!

We’re grateful to have played a small part in creating a place where students can learn, connect, and grow while honoring Holly King’s memory.

We may never love a customer photo more than this one! ❤️

Terrie shared this with us right after her new roof was completed, and seeing her smiling face with our amazing crew truly made our entire week.

This is what the Modern Day Way is all about. Great roofs, happy homeowners, and a team that takes pride in every home we work on. Thank you for trusting us with yours, Terrie! 🏠

🇺🇸 MDR loves our troops!

We always love when our customers stop by especially when it’s to collect their Roofs for Troops rebate!

Through the GAF Roofs for Troops program, Modern Day Roofing is proud to help eligible active-duty military members, veterans, and retirees save on a qualifying GAF roofing system. It’s just one small way we can thank those who have served our country.

Thank you for trusting MDR with your home and most importantly, thank you for your service! ❤️🤍💙
