Job description
Alvis-Laing Electric is a leading industrial and commercial electrical contractor in the New River Valley area. We are looking for new electricians to add to our team. Currently we are looking for all levels of electrician from helper to master.

Job Summary

Electrician to work in Industrial power distribution in the construction industry

Projects are in New River Valley and the surrounding areas

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Installation of switch gear and MCC

Branch power to equipment, lights, etc.

Lifting, bending conduit, pulling wire, terminating

Qualifications and Skills

Clean driving record

Good employment record

The words “THANK YOU” only scratch the surface of the gratitude PCTC feels for the generosity and service provided by Malcolm Laing. Happy Earth Day! In 2020 we installed a 24 kW solar array. In 2021 we started driving electric cars! In 2022 we hope to start converting our work van fleet to all electric. We have a strong commitment to the environment and we will do everything in our power to continually reduce the environmental impact of our operations.
