Together, Dioptra L.L.C., has more than 55 years combined experience in the surveying profession. In 2015, Stewart Ward, purchased Dioptra from Rodney Burch. Stewart has been with Dioptra since 2006 and is excited to continue the professional service that Dioptra’s clients expect. Boundary survey pricing is not one-size-fits-all.

In Idaho, the cost of a survey often depends on what the land, records and local regulations require. A larger or irregularly shaped parcel can take more fieldwork. Dense vegetation, steep slopes or remote access can add time. Missing records can increase research. Monumentation and filing requirements can affect the final scope.

Last Friday and Saturday I was privileged to attend and be a part of the Boise Meridian Initial Point Celebration: Surveying the Past, Mapping the Future event as part of the Idaho America250 celebration.
