Sweet Lips Honey had a Successful move from Tennessee to Dallas, Georgia. Many thanks to my Tennessee beekeeper friends. Once arriving in Dallas my brother had the stands already for the hives. I was very exhausted but we got them moved. Looking forward to reconnecting with my Georgia friends and family. On to a bigger beekeeping year.

Chased a swarm with my bother yesterday. Just what he didn’t want was another hive. Later inspected all his hives and 2 of them had 10-12 queen cells each. I used the equipment, that was given to us in the UT class, to cut out cells for another split. Four queens have emerged already. Good thing we were given queen cages in our kit. I put them back into the top of a hive to keep them warm overnight.
