We covered a lot of ground and saw a lot of spectacular and awesome scenery along the way. On this journey we saw a lot of lawn art and it sparked a creative sparkle in my mind. The idea of making something from what I had laying around my junk yard (Sheltonβs Garage in the Horse Creek community of Greene County) just intrigued me. I have had this business for over 35 years and counting, so I have
accumulated a lot of junk and a lot of metal pieces of which to craft these gooney birds. I started out making just one or two here and there and now I cannot stop making them. These gooney birds have become my passion! These birds have a unique personality all their own, with different beaks, hair, wings, and color of their eyes! No two are alike. I will continue to make these birds as long as I am able and as long as folks continue to have an interest in them as they have thus far. We appreciate your business and your interest in our birds.
