🚨 Another overloaded circuit corrected by AER Electric.

This home had half of the house running on a single 15-amp circuit, including the microwave. That amount of load on one circuit can cause nuisance breaker trips, overheating, and over time may damage the wiring, creating a potential fire hazard.

Our solution was to reroute the wiring into two separate circuits and install a new dedicated 20-amp circuit for the microwave. The electrical load is now properly distributed, making the system safer, more reliable, and ready for everyday use.

If your breakers keep tripping, lights dim when appliances turn on, or your home has older wiring, it may be time for a professional electrical inspection.

A customer contacted AER Electric because their Tesla Wall Connector kept tripping the breaker. After a complete diagnosis, we found the 60-amp breaker was defective and tripping below its rated capacity. We replaced the breaker, performed a load calculation, and safely derated the charging circuit to 50 amps because the home has a 100-amp main service. The result? Safe, reliable, code-compliant EV charging.
